"Great location next to the beach, nice on-site restaurant, friendly staff. Would be quiet, except for unexpected late night traffic noise - hopefully not a regular occurrence."

"Chalets could have been cleaner especially the bathroom, the catering staff were amazing friendly and so helpful, needed more staff on the front desk, but overall a good break"
"It was a very nice stay with an excellent couple. Warm welcomed. A very nice big dog was also present to welcome. I had to say hello to the dog as he was so friendly. Very cooperative host. Family environment. Residence is upstairs like three rooms and bathroom outside the rooms. Mostly quiet. Nice and clean and a proper communication with the host throughout my stay. I was invited warmly to have breakfast but had no time. Will miss this stay."

Old Colonial Hotel Weston-Super-Mare | Marston's Inns
10/10 Excellent
"
access to top floor was not suitable for oap, too many stairs with no help from staff with luggage. Dining area/ bar closes very early and with erratic times. Room was very good, clean and well aired. Shower was a bit weak but hot. Food was acceptable"
"Lovely stay . Rooms ample size , reception staff and bar staff very friendly and helpful, evening entertainment was great . Very close to the beach and pier and shops .Only downside was the noise from traffic if your room is on the front of hotel as no double glazing as its an old building, otherwise perfect. "

The Richmond – A True Home from Home
"The Richmond is everything you want in a stay – warm, welcoming, perfectly located, and with breakfasts to remember.
If you’re looking for somewhere in Weston-super-Mare that feels like a home from home, The Richmond is the place to be. It’s in a fantastic location, with plenty of amenities and great places to eat within comfortable walking distance.
From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth by the owner. His friendly nature and extensive local knowledge made my three-night stay even more enjoyable, with plenty of great suggestions for things to do and see.
Breakfast each morning was perfect – spot on, beautifully presented, and expertly prepared and served, they couldn’t do enough to make sure everything was just right.
On my last day, I had the pleasure of meeting the owners mother and her close friend, and we enjoyed a lovely conversation about the importance of good food and service – something The Richmond clearly understands and delivers.
I have no doubt this will be my go-to place to stay whenever I return to Weston.
Thank you, Richmond – see you again soon!"
"The only downside to our stay at the royal hotel was the single glazed windows should be double glazed because the noise from the bars and clubs nearby unacceptable especially between midnight to 3am
Otherwise our stay was lovely "
