"No visitors lounge accept a small area in the dining room this was poor. No information in your room to where facilities are. To small car park, our booking included free parking but no parking was available on one occasion."

"Loved staying at Masons Arms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent restaurant on sure for both dinner and breakfast the following morning. Can go for walks from the pub.will visit again!"

"A lovely weekend at Mount Pleasant, the room (16) was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The window overlooks the side garden and carpark, my only criticism would be a little on the dark as no sun. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices, evening dinner also great with choices. It is in a quiet position with an easy 5/6 minute walk to seafront. Highly recommend a visit!"

"I had a lovely room, I was surprised breakfast wasn’t included/offered. Staff were friendly but I couldn’t get internet which may have been just me. I was on my own and wanted to plan my next day, couldn’t even get 4G. Not even in the bar. Young lady said it was a bad area??!! Plenty parking and lots of people eating so food must be good. I just had (a very small) portion of chips. "

"Excellent location close to the Byes which are lovely. The house is nice and well equipped and good value. As others have described parking is a nightmare, total luck if you get a spot and if you don't, then expect at least 5 minutes walk from the next nearest option. Nothing the owners can do about this but be aware. What is less clear from the description is that the garden is not directly accessed from the back door. There is a shared pathway directly outside the back door and the garden is a few yards to the right, so if you have a dog you cannot just let it out."

"The property was in a beautiful location, my dog loved staying here with the secure garden. Everything was as described and communication with the owner was easy and quick to answer any questions."

"A wonderful place to relax and rest which was made even better by a very warm and welcoming host. The position of the cottage gave good access to many different beaches although Branscombe beach was the most relaxing and never crowded. A wonderful holiday."
