"No visitors lounge accept a small area in the dining room this was poor. No information in your room to where facilities are. To small car park, our booking included free parking but no parking was available on one occasion."

"A huge thank you to Azeem, Yanu and Rajeen who made my stay extra special. They catered to my very demanding needs with enthusiasm. The hotel is ideal, right on the beach with beautiful views. The only downside is that there is no fridge inside the room, but this is minimal given all the other perks. The hotel's interior is meticulously decorated with love and care. It gives a unique, homely feel. I enjoyed my stay. I will definitely return if ever the opportunity presents itself. "

"Everything about The Belmont suited us. From its wonderful position - close enough to Sidmouth town centre to take a walk after dinner but far enough not to feel overcrowded. Beautiful sea views from the lounge bar and Horizon restaurant. Food was fantastic for choice, quality and cost. The staff were exceptional - friendly and eager to please. The room we stayed in could have been a little bigger but that was due to our budget. Beautifully decorated. Well done and a big thank you to all the staff. "

"A lovely weekend at Mount Pleasant, the room (16) was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The window overlooks the side garden and carpark, my only criticism would be a little on the dark as no sun. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices, evening dinner also great with choices. It is in a quiet position with an easy 5/6 minute walk to seafront. Highly recommend a visit!"
