"Our room was immaculate and comfortable. The staff is amazingly helpful and kind. The hotel is close to the tram stop at Rembrandtplein and within walking distance of many restaurants and lovely neighborhoods. (The frosted glass bathroom door in our room was a bit surprising, but we got used to it!)"

"It was okay overall. The Netherlands seems to have a broader staffing issue at the moment, and you can feel it in the service at times, with things often feeling slow, understaffed, or lacking a bit of care and attention. One thing to be aware of is the room location. If you get a room on the station side, it genuinely feels like you are sleeping underneath the train tracks because of the noise. That said, the hotel delivers well on practicality and convenience. It served its purpose for me while dealing with delayed Eurostar travel and the chaos that came with it."

"This was a short walk to and from the central train station, so was easy to get in and out of. I wouldn't bring large luggage, though, because the cobblestone streets are hard to maneuver with wheeler bags. I loved the location and could walk around the city freely. It's a short hop to canal tours, the red light district, and a lot of restaurants! You are about 1 mile (1.6 km) from the big art museums or the casino, so that's a bit further. But, there are plenty of shops to stop at along the way or you can enjoy a walk along the numerous canals. The only gripe about my stay is that my room was on the ground level right next to the main strip, so there was noise from outside until about 1 am. And, then a huge delivery truck stopped right outside my window at 7am. If you aren't on the ground floor, you'll probably really appreciate this hotel and the location."

"There is a roof top bar on level 12. We stayed on level 8. The music was so loud it shook the room. They said they always have a Sunday night Party! We wanted good sleep for an international flight the next Morning. That didn't happen. The staff comped our breakfast which we DID NOT order!"

"Our room was very small - not much room to move around in. There was no mini fridge in the room. It would have been very handy to just have a mini fridge for us to put drinks in & to keep fruit cool. There was not much closet space to hang clothes. There was no restaurant for lunch or dinner. The bathroom had not many amenities eg.face washers. To be able to use the umbrellas, you had to pay. One good thing was the breakfast in the mornings - continental & some hot foods. There was plenty to eat. It was only a short walk to the supermarket & restaurants. It was good to have an iron & ironing board. All staff were helpful & friendly."
