"The only gripe, and as a first-time traveler to Europe, the stair situation should be disclosed. Carrying a 50-pound bag up three flights of stairs were brutal. I wish I had taken a picture so you could understand the situation. Otherwise, the staff was great, they held my bags until after check-in. The room was clean and was well centered around multiple things to do."

"I loved the staff and the cleanliness of this hotel. The location was perfect for exploring and the hotel bar was good without being over the top expensive. The only negative is that we were supposed to get 20% off food and beverage once per stay through Expedia. However they should tell you it’s not redeemable in the restaurant. Only the bar or Illys coffee shop. We left it until the last morning and couldn’t use it. The coffee shop and bar were closed. Anyway just a heads up. We had a very enjoyable stay though. They got us in the room early as we arrived at 10:00 in the morning and were very jet lagged. I would most definitely recommend to anyone !"

"Great location, super nice staff. The breakfast was great, and the Gin and Tonic was excellent. Only issue was occasionally the room had a funky smell. It would come and go, but other than that, the overall stay was great."

"We loved our stay at the Hoxton so much. It’s a lovely building in a quiet area but so easy to get around with the tram stop so close by. The staff are really lovely - especially the restaurant and bar staff. So friendly and interesting to chat to! Special thanks to Maya, Femke and Luigi who made our trip to Amsterdam start off in the best possible way. Can’t wait to return"
