"Well it's the greatest dark sky we've ever seen. The star is twinkle late at night and put smiles and tears in our eyes. The pool was beautiful and particularly after a long hike at Big Bend national Park. At the same time we were lucky that Our Neighbor's dog did not bark because there was no insulation in the walls. Thank God there was a restaurant because nothing is close. And our server Beau and chef Phil was over the top. On the road there we did see Havelina's."

"Great location to big bend, near a lot of restaurants. Nice staff. Really wish they had a refrigerator. "

"This location amounted to shelter from the elements. It wasn't particularly comfortable nor was it particularly nice. It was close proximity to Big Bend National park which was convenient. "

"Can't think of any negatives? Well, it is supposed to be an original old-fashioned hotel so no, it doesn't have an elevator. The staff will haul it up stairs for you though."

"Michelle & Mark were great host, so welcoming & informative on the area. Barndominium was clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable, plenty of kitchenware for cooking & living room had 2 very comfortable couches. Outside had a gas grill fot grilling, hot tub for soaking & plenty of seating to relax or enjoy a fire. Great for our trip to Big Bend National Park & State Park. We would recommend for your stay as well!"

"Nice, calm environment for your off-the-grid adventure. Close enough to Big Bend and Terlingua to enjoy the sites but far enough away from the crowd. We enjoyed the simplicity of it all, especially the big bright starry sky! Thanks, Jim!"

"The room was clean, supplied well and was perfect for gorgeous views of the sunset, stars and mountains. It had a nice fire pit but a burn ban prevented us from using it. We still used the chairs for the desert and mountain views at night. The shared kitchen was perfect for a quick breakfast. All in all, I wasn’t ready to leave when y was time to leave 10 bits! I would recommend to anyone headed to Big Bend. "

"Great Views and Very Close to Big Bend. No Bathrooms in the cabin it is shard space. My wife walked in on a man going to the bathroom #2 and he had the door wide open and did not bother to close it once my wife walked in. Partly my fault for not reading the reviews and seeing others post about how small it is. The Pictures are very misleading about the actual living space. We made it work though and overall it was ok but i could have stayed at big bend station for the same price and not have a shared bathroom and bigger space to sleep "
