"Was in the area for extended weekend and stayed at XB. Place is in perfect place to enjoy desert and has beautiful scenery. We really enjoyed our time on the porch. Town with restaurants and stores is near about 20 min away. Phones (Verizon) worked well at property. Room and bath were clean and everything worked as should. Thank you for memorable stay wife and kids are already planning next vacation there."

"It was really like a 4.5. The resort was a great little oasis in the middle of desert. We were doing a couple days in Big Bend and needed a base camp. The kids loved the pool and the beds were comfortable and soft. The restaurant onsite was great! All the staff we interacted with were great! AC in the room worked wonderfully! Would definitely stay again if ever back in the area."

"The place was amazing, surrounded by mountains, very quiet and we got to see lots of stars and the Milky way. The little chalet we stayed was confortable and quaint. The road to acces the place was the only things I didn't like, probably because we had a flat tire, but two samaritans came to our rescue, Valente and Vladimir, very greatful, specially because of the heat. We were free to use a really nice kitchen, fully equipped, were we cooked the food we brought."

"What a great place to kick back, watch the amazing stars, watch an abundance of wildlife, and an occasional black bear. The owners of this property were absolutely top notch with such hospitality. Mark and Michelle were very helpful and knowledgeable about the Big Bend area. It is a little bit of a drive, but trust me, it is well worth it! If you are wanting to experience a true night sky with zero light pollution, this truly is the spot to visit! You wont be disappointed! Thank you Mark & Michelle!"
