We had a wonderful stay. The staff was very considerate and kindly upgraded our room, making sure we were placed on the ground floor since my husband has a bad knee and couldn’t manage the stairs. It’s a beautiful property. The staff is amazing. We had a very tasty dinner at the restaurant and great drinks at the bar. Our room is strange. It’s across the street. Our bathroom toilet has a window directly across from it. there is also an outside door into that room and the checkin staff didn’t tell us to go around and use the “Front door”. The bathroom sink is in the bedroom and next to a bed. Our room smells like poo, like a portapotty

Lovely stay here… More beautiful than words can capture! Staff is wonderful and trustworthy. *Suggestions for hotel: the pillows seem really really old and clumpy and the sheets are scratchy -There are ways to upgrade that are not too terribly expensive! A weekend away at Lajitas is just what my soul needed. The grounds are so beautifully maintained, it just gives me peace to sit and admire it. Many walking/hiking trails nearby and a beautiful, mostly quiet pool to enjoy. The restaurant, coffee shop and general store were all excellent as well.
