Lovely breakfast

Bedroom very comfortable, staff friendly, close to all the shops and restaurants, fantastic breakfast, would stay in this hotel again.

Wonderful views of the ocean. Very impersonal hotel. We tried to communicate and never got an answer and never got to meet any of the staff (there was no one to check us in, during breakfast or to check us out)

We had a lovely stay at 1 Espenade.. Great views n great location.. Pretty decor, recently decorated.. The breakfast was OK.. Prefered the cold buffet.

A fabulous 2 night stay; hotel was really lovely and friendly. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a larger room with a sea view which was a lovely surprise and unexpected. Breakfast was also delicious; stunning location.

We paid £140 which is almost top prices in Tenby for a decent room. The photos looked lovely, possible see view, right on the esp close to South Beach. We've stayed in Tenby loads, born in the area and we were out for a rare no child evening seeing friends. We paid a little extra thinking our 'suite' room as it was advertised would be a little special. On arrival we had to find out key box (odd for hotel) and find our room. The corridors and stairs to the room, the carpet was old and worn out, Burgandy flowered and past it's sell by. Our room was on the ground floor with a lovely view of the owners car port and Range Rover. Our other window was a small wooden single paned window that was at street level. It was very noisy. The room was clean but far from special. I travel a lot with work and this was acceptable for a night away with work but far from what we were expecting. Unbeknown to me, whilst collecting our stuff from the car, my wife had gone to bathroom only to find a 💩 left in the toilet. If I'd been there I would have gone ballistic and asked for another room or refund. Can't say what the beds were like as in the end we stayed somewhere else and came back in the morning for our breakfast which wasn't bad. The decor in the breakfast room more what we were expecting. We could hear every footstep from upstairs for the short time we were in the room. We found an absolute gem of a hotel which we will book every time we go back. Sorry but we won't be returning to the Esp

Loved our stay here, last minute booking but Graham was more than welcoming when we turned up at the property. A family of 3 (son is 9 years old) and our dog. Room was spotless with an amazing sea view, really beautiful. The beach was just across the road but down multiple steps which some may find difficult to climb. We will definitely be back! Thank you all

Lovely view, but bad nights sleep

Good location. Great views. Tastefully decorated room. Not the most comfortable bed, as it sloped to the sides - felt like it needed replacing. Clean room with a nice sea view. Could hear room above until early hours. Breakfast was ok, nice thick bacon, cheap sausage, cheap hash brown but cold selection was nice. Didn’t cater for dairy free though. The couple that own it are lovely, and seem to care. Hope they replace the mattresses soon as would make a much better trip!

Ideal for close access to Tenby and all its lovely beaches and idyllic streets. Perfect for what we needed and such a spacious room. That and the view were like nothing we’ve experienced before.

We absolutely loved our stay here, easy check in and the room was gorgeous and spacious overlooking the sea! There was free parking on the street which was ideal. We were able to walk every in Tenby from this location and felt safe. We had a lovely full English (Welsh) breakfast in the morning, along with cold breakfast options as well. Highly recommend this location for a stay in Tenby!

Fantastic views

Lovely room overlooking the sea and island off Tenby beach, location very good close to the centre, free parking in front of the hotel but could be full none the less there is a pay car park close by. Room very clean, only way to improve would be softer pillows as the bed is hard

I loved the location; I had a room with an ocean view. The room is not air conditioned, if that is a necessity for you, but it had a fan and I was very comfortable at night. The room was clean and quiet, and I could walk anywhere I needed to go.

Pretty view from older economy hotel.

Older property with beautiful beach/sea view. Clean and comfortable enough, but lots of stairway and stairs. Building is pretty tired and in need of renovation. Limited front desk. Price was very affordable, but hotel/rooms reflected it. Unlikely to stay again.

Tired

Reception staff very friendly and helpful but hotel is tired and dated and due to the fact that it's dog friendly not very pleasant smelling. The radiators were piping hot ( In June 😳) and covered so you are unable to turn it off, luckily both windows were easily opened. Bed was comfortable and there is tea and coffee making facilities. Shower is small and low water flow also if you are up early, before 7am, the water is tepid. Came back from a fantastic walk on south beach for breakfast only to find there wasn't a table free. Only stayed the one night but couldn't recommend to anyone.
