"There’s a great vibe here—easy going and comfort with style. The staff was friendly and helpful, even over the phone. Coffee and snacks at $3-4 each made the mornings great. NYC tourists are near a 1 train at 181st to head straight downtown with the bonus of but a diverse neighborhood and nearby parks and waterfront. A king suite was a perfect fit for a family of three with older child, plus had a stellar uptown view. "

"The Clinton Hill Hotel exceeded my expectations for the price. I was expecting something more down-market, but the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels provided each time. The staff were friendly, polite, and very helpful throughout my stay. The location is also a big plus — the bus to New York stops right outside the hotel and runs until 2am, so getting around was never an issue. Overall, an excellent and very pleasant stay."
