"Good place, clean, freshly renovated, has all the creature comforts including a big couch, tv, fully equipped kitchen, and great art and plants. The beeline was near by, so within 1ish hours I was in midtown Manhattan. Will stay here again!"
Stylish Stay in City’s Best Spot- The Perfect Stay
4/10 Poor
"Agree with Lakyra's review! Be careful if they try to contact you the day of to report something is wrong with the original property and want you to have this “alternative” location. If the original property is not up to par for renting, it shouldn’t be advertised on VRBO. within three hours of our arrival time, the host called to report that the original location that we were renting was not available (something about a gas leak or outage) and that they would “give us an alternative that is more premium”. Due to the nature of our trip (family passing/funeral for two days), it left us in a bad situation with little time to plan an alternative, where we were told by the manager that a “cancellation could take up to 14 days to get a refund”. We had a two-day trip booked for 5. The manager was willing to send pictures of the location (appeared reasonable but the pictures were not accurate) but upon arrival, it was smaller, more cramped apartment (versus a house) along with other issues (i.e. parking on street; lots of stairs; ants; dysfunctional tv’s where the remotes were not fully functional; faulty/broken outlets; no twin beds; faulty lighting; only three towels in the entire apartment; helpful homeless lady across the street). Upon entering, I immediately sprayed for ants in the living room and later bathroom. The entire situation gave slumlord vibes on top of the feeling that it is false advertisement or a ploy to lock in for one location but be re-routed to another."
