"The view was fantastic but we didn’t feel that the property was very good value for money. We had 8 people staying and paid nearly 3500 for 6 days. We were only left with three toilet rolls and 1 rubbish sack. The property had bugs ( ants and cockroaches) which is to be expected in a Beach property but there was no bug spray / mortein/ citronella etc to help us dress the problem. It was also really hot and there were no fans located on the property. The rooms had blinds which meant all light came in and several of the slats were missing / damaged. "

"Graham was a perfect and attentive host. From booking to check in he was helpful and friendly. He genuinely wanted us to enjoy his house and what Mangawhai had to offer. It was easy to communicate with him whenever we needed to. The house is a quintessential kiwi Bach, fuss free, comfortable with everything you need and nothing more so you don’t have to worry about too much while you’re away. The Bach was previously a family home for 30 years and you get the family homely vibe there. Perfect place for a couple of family groups together. Ample space and play areas for children and adults alike. "
