A little gem not too far out of Salisbury. Very good food, lovely fresh made to order breakfast. A family run business where attention to detail is paramount. Very friendly and happy to sit and have a chat about preferred travel routes for visitors.

We loved our time at the Avon Causeway. The staff were wonderful! It's a charming little pub that has a real homely feel about it. We felt very welcome here, it was like a home away from home. The rooms are all clean with well maintained and very clean bathrooms.
The included breakfast was amazing! You won't go hungry with any specific requests provided for, the staff even made us up a breakfast tray for the morning of our departure as we had such an early start.

The Riverside is close to the centre of Salisbury but still easy to get to, no narrow streets and plenty of easy parking. The river view room was modern, clean, comfortable and very pleasant. The access to the garden and the river bank was a real plus. The breakfast buffet was good, fill up here and you will barely need lunch! The only minor problem is that the gravel on the car park isn't friendly to wheeled suitcases.

We booked this as somewhere reasonably close to stay on the way to take a ship out of Southampton. What luck! A very comfortable large room, excellent king size bed, double doors that open onto a large grassy area. Flat screen TV and FREE wi fi!!
The value for money brilliant. Staff young and enthusiastic. Menu to suit everyone at surprisingly low prices. Very good full breakfast. Large public restaurant and lounge but broken up into smaller areas to stay cosy.
Plenty of parking. We loved it and...
