The Space:
Clover at Lexington Park by Tiny Away is located in the quiet town of Tarlo, Southern Tablelands, surrounded by undulating hills and horse paddocks teeming with gorgeous horses. Roses Cafe Goulburn, Belmore Park, and towns like Goulburn, Taralga, and Crookwell are just a few of the attractions in the area.
Or you can take a short trip from Goulburn to enjoy the HSRCA 2025 race at One Raceway on 1st Feb, a wine tasting at Yarralaw Springs Wines on 2nd Feb, and the Goulburn Rotary Parkside Markets on 8th Feb, featuring local produce and artisans.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower for hot showers.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home, "Myrtle," available with 24 hours' notice in advance.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings, except the horse paddocks.
Visitors are welcome at Lexington Park Thoroughbred horse property, set on a 100-acre piece of land only 10 minutes from town. If they are interested, please read the following guidelines for the pre-arranged activity:
- Do not enter horse paddocks without the host's permission
- We also ask guests not to feed farm animals as they are on specific diets for their health
The Neighborhood:
Clover at Lexington Park by Tiny Away is located in the Australian countryside of Tarlo, Southern Tablelands, NSW. Where you can explore local wineries, parks, and other popular attractions. Goulburn, Taralga, Crookwell, and Canberra are just a few of the nearby towns from Tarlo.
Our local favorites include Roses Goulburn, a popular café known for handcrafted savories and sweets with warm service. Valerie ’s Sunroom Café sits inside Gehl Garden Centre and serves locally roasted coffee and fresh pastries every day of the week. Grand Ettie in Taralga offers a country-style experience with hearty meals like fried bacon rolls, cheesecakes, and a selection of drinks.
If you want to spend time outdoors, Belmore Park and Victoria Park are just a 16-minute drive away and are perfect for short walks or small picnics. The Rocky Hill War Memorial is another highlight, honoring the men and women of Goulburn who served in World War I, with a new exhibition room recently added to house an expanding collection.
Taralga Wildlife Park is home to more than 700 animals, including white kangaroos, quokkas, dingoes, wombats, and mini goats, offering plenty of hands-on encounters. Bungonia National Park is also close by and is considered the adventure capital of the Southern Tablelands.
Getting Around:
By car:
- From Sydney (M31) (2 hours) take the 1st Goulburn exit onto Sydney Rd.
- Follow past McDonald's, turn right onto union street. Right onto chantry st, and follow along until the road becomes Taralga Rd.
- Then, follow through Suburbia, past Goulburn horse race track and NSW police driver training centre, approximately 16 mins from Hume highway.
- From Canberra (M31) (1 hour) take Goulburn exit onto Hume St, follow past the big Merino
- Hume Street becomes Cowper St, turn right onto Clinton St. At union street turn left, right onto Chantry St.
- Then, follow along until the road becomes Taralga Rd, follow through suburbia, past Goulburn horse race track and NSW police driver training centre, approximately 22 mins from Hume highway.
- Accessible by car 2wd and 4wd (unless extreme rain may make 2wd access more difficult)
By public transport:
- Goulburn train station and taxi. However, we still recommend guest travel by private vehicle for easy access to nearby towns and smooth check-in to our property.
Other Things to Note:
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- No smoking allowed inside, except in designated areas
- Please note that our family lives onsite to care for the animals
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Important note:
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
