A charming 100 yr old country cottage with amazing views and beautiful sunsets.
Lovingly restored, It has high ceilings, original timber floors and wide wrap around verandahs, in winter you can keep cosy and warm by the fire or enjoy a fire pit outside, and in the evening gaze up at the stars as clear as you’ll see them ! In summer you can take a 5 min drive to the Abercrombie River for a swim.
A Separate 1x bedroom cottage with lounge/sofa bed (separate booking - Shearer's Cottage) plus camping is available for larger bookings on the property. Send a message if you have a larger group :)

Peaceful Country Escape- Just what we needed

We had a wonderfully peaceful stay as a family of four with two kids. The spacious grounds were perfect for the kids to explore, giving them plenty of room to roam and enjoy nature. Inside and out, the property was warm and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor fires—and plenty of firewood provided, which was a lovely touch. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the host was friendly and responsive. A beautiful and relaxing country escape—we’d love to come back!

A hidden gem in the country side - pure relaxation!

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home in this beautiful cabin. Surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind and recharge. The cabin itself is cozy, stylish, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.Mornings started with coffee on the deck, listening to the birds, and evenings were spent by the fireplace, enjoying the warmth and tranquility. The setting is private and peaceful, yet close enough to explore local trails and scenic spots.Thank you Paula for all of your assistance, we will be back!
