"This hotel was really good value for money. I would not bother paying for the breakfast as this was over priced. The rooms were clean and comfortable but it did say that it will be changing to a premier inn soon and the rooms will all be having a make over. I would stay here again if returning to Newcastle."

"We stay here for the annual sela cup and its the perfect base for st james park, the city centre and train station. The staff are always friendly and the bag storage even on departing is a godsend. Rooms are pleasant enough and the beds are comfy. "

Well equipped kitchen, bathroom and cosy living room and bedroom with all amenities to make this a great home from home stay for a couple of days. Warm welcome, friendly, attentive service from Hilary and staff. 1 minute walk to cafe for excellent breakfast, which we ate outdoors in sunshine. Excellent value, with the bonus of a free pass to Beamish Museum, which saved us 50. Short drive / walk to nearby pub and restaurant, both with excellent food.
