"I’m glad I listened to most of the reviews for this place. We came for the sheep farm, but in the end this manor made the stay worth the scary drive from Hualien. From the beginning, they made us feel like special guests. "On the same street as Wyndham Sun Moon Lake, but cost 10x less. Good for 1-2nights stay. Clean place with private, lockable cabins, and very near the ITA Thao shopping street and pier. You can walk along the lake to the cable car station and the Nine Frogs Stack 九蛙疊像. Even though the opening hours of some food stores are quite unpredictable, there are plenty of options and two convenience stores around."

"Staff are helpful and polite. Stayed in room with lake view and it was quiet and peaceful (on Friday night). Breakfast variety is plenty too. Hotel provided complimentary fireflies watching as it happened to be fireflies mating season. It’s just a short walk to get public bus to Taichung HSR station and catching ferry at pier. There’s free 2 hours bicycle rental. If you are there on non peak season, they can allow u to use it for a couple hours. "

"Fair room amenities with a good price. Good value of money. The location may not be too impressive. It took like 15-20 mins to get to the farm. It won’t be a problem if you are a hiker and the view along the trail is awesome!!! the shabushabu u can have for dinner was quite good there too. It saved my time searching food.
