Not sure I would stay again. Rated as 5 star but not a 5 star hotel. Pros: Lots of families and activities to do. On the lake. Good views. Organized transportation to and from the hotel + touring around the lake. Con’s: Breakfast was chaotic. No food options between lunch and dinner. Only place to eat was the lobby bar. Lots of foreigners but not a lot of hotel staff spoke English.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The room was very nice and kept impeccably clean. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. I also enjoyed the food, which was delicious. A real highlight was the live singer in the evenings; their performance was excellent and added a great atmosphere to the experience. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

Wonderful hotel with great amenities. Very family-friendly, staff were super helpful. It’s a little tucked away in terms of location, but they do offer free (limited) pickup and dropoff service to Taichung and pickup or dropoff service to Shuishe. Highly recommend.

We got the room with a private hot tub and lake view which was nice. However the wood finishes inside the room showed the test of time, and there was only a small upholstered seat, so cannot enjoy looking at Sun Moon Lake as much. The rate included half board (breakfast and dinner), both at an enormous dining hall with many food stations served buffet style. There were so many guests (200-300?) that dining was in 2 shifts. Apparently many tour groups were bused in. I don't know where they stayed, as the wing we were at was pleasantly uncrowded.

Beautiful property. Rooms are spacious and clean. The Japanese style room was very comfortable! Buffet was excellent - so much selection and everything was delicious. The pool area was really nice. Large area for kids to play in and was near the hot spring pool and massage pool. There’s also separate saunas for men and women. The locker rooms were also well appointed with a dressing area. Staff was very welcoming and accommodating.

My parents and I had the most wonderful stay at Fleur de Chine. My father got into an accident while we were in Sun Moon Lake, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had help in every way possible - from arranging transportation for us to/from the hospital, to checking in on us even after we checked out. I was speechless by the level of kindness. Furthermore, the rooms with the lake view were better than I even imagined. Thank you, Fleur de Chine staff! I will certainly be back again.
