This area provides the most direct access to the sanctuary's gates, which is the primary reason most visitors come to Tala. Accommodation options here range from comfortable resorts to more rustic guesthouses, all designed to complement a wildlife-focused trip. It's a rural setting, so expect a peaceful environment surrounded by nature.

For couples and families focused on wildlife experiences, staying near Tala village is ideal. Many lodges offer guided safaris and nature walks, making it easy to plan your daily activities.

The best time to visit Tala is during the dry, cooler months, specifically from October to March.

This period offers pleasant weather, with moderate temperatures and minimal rainfall, making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the region and enjoying outdoor activities. The days are generally sunny and comfortable, superb for wildlife viewing and excursions.

For those interested in seeing the area's wildlife at its most active, the late winter and early spring months, particularly February and March, are excellent. As water sources begin to recede, animals tend to congregate around the remaining ones, making them easier to spot.
