Had a wonderful anniversary trip with my wife. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The staff were, as with most in hospitality in Japan out of this world and made us feel very welcome! The breakfast buffet was one of the best of our entire trip with lots of Japanese and Western options.

The hotel was fine. Rooms are small and the location is fine but not very interesting. It is walkable to most places. The check in and breakfast procedure were overly complicated. The hotel was clean.

Thoroughly recommend this property. Everything one needs and very handy to the station. Breakfast had a very good selection. Room was spacious compared to others we’ve had in Japan. A lot of wood finishes throughout the hotel reflecting the local forestry industry was a nice touch.

Great hotel, the room is was comfortable, the breakfast option was good, the private Onsen / bath could be reserved for a fee and enjoy privacy rather than use the free shared ones. The hotel location is within 5 minutes walk from the train station. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit to Takayama.

Really enjoyed this very nice hotel. Quick walk from station, bus stops close by, and walking distance to the main tourist area/shops/restaurants. Room was very comfortable, nice breakfast and bar area. Super friendly staff. And the onsen was gorgeous, loved the outdoor pools. Great value for the price. Couldn’t fault this place. Would definitely recommend.

Great choice for Takayama

Very close to the train station. Rather new hotel with very nice setup. The rooms are bigger than maybe what you find in other bigger cities in the rest of the country. Nice onsen which is not too busy when i visit.

Relaxing and cosmopolitan hotel with no downsides.

Lovely, well-appointed hotel, very convenient for the rail station. Pleasant and helpful staff, comfy bed and spacious room with great view over Takayama. Good breakfast selection and relaxed atmosphere. Especially enjoyed the rooftop onsen on two occasions after a long day sightseeing. Loved the discreet use of plants and bamboos screening hotel from the road and around the onsen outdoor pools.

There was a laundry only around 10 min walk away. The washing machine automatically added the soap and fabric softener. It was only $3.00. The hotel was close to the train station, only around a 3 min walk. My room was very clean and nice and big. There was a small bar fridge and the breakfast was really nice as well. You had plenty to choose from. The hotel staff where all very nice and helpful. I was very happy with my stay there. Cheers
