About this property

Entire place

Two Morrows Tahoe Cabin - Near skiing & Lake Tahoe. Children and dogs welcome!

A Norwegian word, koselig, describes the ambiance invoked by a flickering fireplace, the smell of cinnamon rolls, a glass of California red, and Two Morrows Tahoe Cabin. Find the comforts of home here with many desirable amenities. Whether you are spending your summer vacation at Lake Tahoe, or enjoying the snow at Homewood Mountain Resort or at Sugar Pine Point State Park x-c trails, "Velkommen og kos deg!"

Our remotely-controlled thermostat guarantees our cabin will be cozy when you arrive! If you are a winter guest, feel free to hone your scouting skills and fire up our wood-burning stove while choosing between a hot cup of cocoa or a glass of wine after a great day on the slopes and before indulging in a board game with the family, or settling back to watch a favorite old movie on our Smart TV. Bring your account information and passwords for your favorite platforms!

Summer guests can enjoy a tall one after a day at one of our lovely West Shore beaches while preparing a meal in the fully equipped kitchen and gathering around the picnic-style dining table that seats 7, or enjoying the meal al fresco on either the front or back deck. There are numerous small appliances as well as all you need for baking, roasting, slow-cooking, or grilling. And there are dishes and table utensils for the the young ones. Forget your favorite recipe? There is a shelf of cookbooks next to the refrigerator.

Need a booster seat? Potty seat? Pack-n-Play? Check the front bedroom closet. Games can be found in the living room cabinets.

Our flat screen TV brings in some local stations. We have seating for children as well as adults. The coffee table stores many VHR tapes, and a small shelving unit holds VRH tapes and DVDs. There is a sound system with a radio, CD and cassette tape players. The available genres are mostly classical, jazz and show tunes. There is a desk to set up your computer, and all rooms have USB ports.

Lake Tahoe has much to offer in every season! Exploring our neighborhood with your dog or taking a dip in Lake Tahoe at Chamber's Landing or Sugar Pine Point State Park are popular summer activities. Dine at the "Dog and Bear Tavern", or grab a sweet treat at "Where We Met Gelato & Espresso Bar". Both are just a short walk away!

At day's end, savor the quiet while sipping a drink on our fenced back deck. Follow this with a refreshing shower in a toasty warm bathroom before bidding good night. Both bathrooms have wall heaters.)

Our master bedroom is equipped for small families, with a queen bed and stacked bunks. Additional guests can sleep comfortably in one of the other two bedrooms or in the living room. It also has a flat-screen TV.

A recent family addition? The front bedroom has a baby crib, many children's books and room-darkening curtains. There are toy bins on the shelf in the closet.

The middle bedroom has a second desk and a bookcase with several on local topics including trees, birds, flowers, trails, history, geography, nearby places, local legends, and tall tales. And there is a funky old TV there for viewing VHR tapes.

The photographs for our listing have been taken over several years. We are constantly upgrading or rearranging furnishings, so what you see in a photograph may not reflect the current reality, but better! We strive to update our older photographs every time we are there (usually twice a year.)

We have been renting since 1979 and listed on Vrbo since 2002. Our VHR Permit number is 072818 and our Tax ID number is T65130.

Lovely place!
We loved this cabin! It's actually bigger than the photos. Inside was very comfortable, well supplied, the rooms were nice and beds very comfortable! Communication was great and owners were very easy to work with! Cabin is also in a quiet neighborhood and not right next to another cabin-a plus! It was very relaxing and peaceful-we loved it!

This property is much better in person then online even! Very cozy, extremely well stocked kitchen (best tool selection ive ever seen in a cabin), fun collection of VHSs, very well insulated even in july in the heat the cabin stayed cool! Hosts were very responsive and helpful--it is abundantly clear that this home has been loved and cared for.

Great Place To Stay
It was a cozy place to stay and my family really enjoyed it. Close to the city, we were able to enjoy a nice breakfast and lunch not too far away. Definitely would stay here again on our next time to Lake Tahoe.

I like the location. Going south, you can get to Sugar Pine and Emerald Lake. Going North easy to get onto high way 80. I showed my daughter what's DVD and VCR and they enjoyed high school musical serial. My parent liked the place as well. Kitchen is well equipped.

A comfortable place with everything you need
This cozy cabin is well-equipped like a primary home would be and it is located in a quiet Tahoe neighborhood not far from the lake. It is centered on a big wooded lot so there is space between it and neighbors on all sides. It worked well for my elderly mom. I appreciated the warm sun on the outdoor picnic table in the morning. One night I startled a couple of bears (and they startled me!) as they ran through through the property when I happened to be outside. We checked each other out and then we all moved on :) We would look forward to staying here again.
