"The location is fantastic. We had a great stay because we could walk everywhere, to the Lake, Sylva restaurant, Lighthouse Spa, Za's Pizza. The room was fine, but pretty basic, not as nice as the South Lake Tahoe Basecamp. It was great to have a fire pit in the evenings."

"Stayed here in late March and we got lucky that there was still a little bit of snow to go sledding. Our room was not cleaned very well. Dusty and sheets didn’t smell fresh. Outdoor pool can be upgraded. No chairs and lots of missing/broken tiles. "

"All the Staff are very friendly. There is no housekeeping doesn't matter how many days you stay. Shower rarely gets hot/warm water but mostly cold and is not kid friendly. Rooms are little congested and we had only heater in the room , no AC unit. "

"We had a very frustrating experience with our stay, primarily due to the negligence of the property manager, Tahoe Getaways. When we arrived on Friday afternoon, we found that a bear had broken into the house and a sheet of plywood had been hastily screwed in over the window, leaving a large air gap. We called and the property manager, who somehow seemed to have no notes or knowledge about the condition, and they sent someone out to seal the window. However, we later realized that the room was unsafe (possibly illegal) to occupy because it would be impossible to escape out of the window in case of emergency. We felt we had no other option but to stay and someone slept in the living room. The refrigerator was also broken and a second fridge was placed in the dining room, which was inconvenient. When I requested a partial refund, they said I would be required to sign a settlement agreement (which would not allow me to leave this review) that I wasn't comfortable with for a 10% refund. They also wanted to charge us for early check in and late check out, even though no one was was staying in the cabin before or after us. They were a bit more flexible about this though. Aside from these issues, the house is dated, though comfortable. The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms are very small. "

"This is the 2nd of hopefully many more times staying at this lovely cabin! It is so cozy and all our guests comment on how comfortable and well appointed the rooms and gathering spaces are. The hottub is amazing and such a wonderful way to end the evening. The cabin is perfectly located with in a few blocks walk of many of the Tahoe City hot spots so you don't even really need to drive much you can simply stroll around! We love this place and we'll be back soon!"

"Property was good value give location, not accustomed to walking over compacted snow upon arrival and having to purchase scouring pads burnt grease off pots and pans, requested property management to provide cleaning supplies and hot tub chemicals and to repair bathroom mirror which was coming out of frame. They just apologized and did nothing. Location was great for Palisades skiing, property meet all expectations for price point, property management could improve on customer service."
