Lakeview Delight in Dollar Point Tahoe City

Our renovated home offers views of Lake Tahoe from almost every room! The sunny decks features a large patio set, hot tub on lower deck, gas BBQ, and plenty of space to enjoy the views.

Enter the home into a stunning open concept kitchen, living room, and dining area for you and your guests to enjoy together as a group. Watch the chef of the group prepare a lovely meal in the well stocked kitchen, and chat around the dining set for 10. The wood fireplace will keep everyone cozy while playing some games or connecting about their day. This floor level also hosts a king ensuite and a separate private office staged with a computer monitor and printer for your use.

Head downstairs to discover two additional primary ensuite bedrooms (one bathroom even has a steam shower!) and access to the hot tub. On this level you will also find the fourth bedroom, shared bathroom, and laundry area.

Centrally located to Tahoe City, nearby local beaches and restaurants, endless hiking and biking trails, and nearby world famous ski resorts like Tahoe Palisades, Alpine Meadows, and Northstar.

Parking:
3 cars maximum, 2 cars in the driveway and 1 car in garage. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Pets are not allowed at this home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Use of outdoor furniture is not guranteed in the winter.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!

Family vacation

Amazing Views and Accomodations

Our group had a great time! The property is exactly as listed and had everything we were looking for. The kitchen was well stocked to host our group. The view of the lake was beautiful. The hosts are responsive and helped to resolve issues as soon as they could. Would return in a heartbeat!

Family trip to Lake Tahoe

Everyone liked the property. Bedrooms were good. Kitchen area was perfect. We ate at the dining room table a couple times. We also used the living room TV and enjoyed it. The house was well stocked with most everything we needed. We did request some additional fans and they were delivered promptly.

Gorgeous Lake + Mountain Views in a Chill Neighborhood

Flying in from New England - and therefore not familiar w/Tahoe - we looked at properties on all parts of the lake before settling on this one. Turns out: this was 100% the right call. Why? First off, the neighborhood was ideal. We were up for the 4th of July week, and the area was absolutely packed — gridlock in the bigger towns, and huge crowds everywhere. But Dollar Point? All residential and off the main road, so it's a perfect, quiet spot to decompress after a day on the lake, hiking in the mountains, or shopping in town. It's also just 10 minutes away from a CVS, Safeway, and all the shops and restaurants of Tahoe City, which (in our experience) had the most charm of anyplace on the lake. The house itself is every bit as gorgeous as the photos suggest: an ideal blend of modern & comfortable, with stunning views of the lake and snow-capped mountains. The huge and beautiful kitchen was well appointed and well-supplied, which made it easy to enjoy staying in for family meals, and the kids all loved the full streaming options on the giant HDTV. Bedrooms and baths were all terrifically comfortable and modern, and the large hot tub got a lot of use and love from my kids. 2 minor FYIs: 1) We were staggered by the pollen in the area. No joke; it blew in through the windows, the car was covered in yellow dust every time we went out, and we ALL became fans of Zyrtec. 2) No A/C means it gets VERY hot (even at altitude) in mid-summer. This is the only thing we'd change.

An amazing vacation rental property!

Gorgeous windows all around to take in the beauty of the Lake and trees. Chipmunks, squirrels and birds all about. Beds are comfortable and this was the best equipped rental I have ever stayed in. If you want to stay in and cook, the cookware is very nice and there are leftover containers for you to use while you are there. Bring your Nespresso pods (original) or just use regular coffee. You have both options. The deck is nice and sunny and even in cooler temperatures, it is very pleasant and warm. The owners spared no expense for your comfort during your visit. Don't hesitate to rent this lovely place. The garage is not connected to the house, just just be aware.

It was a pleasure to work with Tahoe rental company and the home was sparkling clean when we arrived. The home is bright and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. Close to Tahoe City for shopping and restaurants and Palisades is an easy 10-15minute drive. We will hopefully return again next year!

Beautiful Property

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Firstly, the house was absolutely beautiful, exceeding our expectations in many ways. The kitchen was remarkably well-equipped, making our meal preparations a breeze. We were also blown away by the gorgeous views and the convenient location that allowed us easy access to local attractions.However, there were some issues that I believe warrant your attention:1. Construction Noise: Our mornings were disrupted by construction work that started at 7:30 am. Make sure to check with the Property Management was the progress is on the house that is being build right in front (lakerow).2. Electrical Wiring: Breakers tend to blow when using too many devices (e.g. dryer and stove)3. Couch Condition: The living room couch is outdated and uncomfortable, with springs sticking out. This was disappointing for such a high-end property. When addressing this, property management said this will be worked on.4. Outdoor Deck: While beautiful, the deck could benefit from some dusting, as there were a lot of spiders. But again, the views make up for it.5. Missing Blinds: The absence of blinds caused the house to heat up considerably during the day. Just keep this in mind depending of the time of year you are looking to book this property for. Also it looked like they will install them at one point as there was wiring for blinds. In summary we really enjoyed our stay and again the property is beautiful. Just minor things we wanted to make sure someone would know before booking.

Perfect for families

Family reunion with adult kids …. All had plenty of room. Great views of lake from upper deck.Mid July was 80s, so the inside (especially upstairs) was really hot during the day. The Nest thermostat AC control didn’t work, & when we called the property mgmt, the rep said the house didn’t have AC. Oh well, nice breeze from lake thru windows.

We had a great time and the accommodations meet all our needs. I'd just suggest coverings on the bedroom windows and while the kitchen was well stocked, dish towels would have been helpful.
