"The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden...

"This cabin is really just part of a group of cabins near Bar Harbor. The difference between this and the ones you can book on like Expedia is that this has a hot tub. It's very cozy, and the inside of the cottage is super cute. However, two things stuck out that really soured the experience for us. Firstly, we heard nothing about how we were supposed to check in leading up to our stay. We ended up just going to the office, which makes sense, but it gave us some anxiety around if we actually had...

"Our accommodations were really nice. Inside is cute and cozy. Nice field area outside to watch the stars at night. Also a lovely screened in porch to enjoy. Location was great just minutes from acadia np and down town bar harbor with access to the free shittle!"

"The cottage is very well designed and comfortable. The location is not as desirable as it is situated near the road and pigs which makes sitting outside less appealing: there is a sour smell coming from the vegetable matter in the pig’s pen. That said once inside the cabin it is very charming. Even on very hot days the cabin cooled down at night. (No overhead fan in loft but small battery operated fans can be used).
