"We stayed in the winter when we were alone. It worked out great. Solitude. Two people and a
dog
. Just enough room. Enough cooking to allow us to do breakfast and some dinner. We hiked around during the day, some locally and some at Acadia National Park. "

Cozy Cottage

2.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (15)
"We had a great 2 nights in this cottage the place felt very peaceful and cozy. We had our 2
dogs
and everyone enjoyed the stay. Overall the place was exactly as described and the owner Alan was very helpful. The bathroom was a lil dirty (some hair in the shower and floor) but we came prepared so not too big of a deal. The wifi wasnt perfect (maybe a lil far) but allowed us to use for what we needed. I definitely recommend and will be back in the future."

Ocean-Beach Front Cottage on Blue Hill Bay w/ Mt Desert Island on the Horizon...

8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (4)
"House size and view were fantastic. It was isolated but yet still not far to restaurants or grocery. Only 30 min from Acadia and Bar Harbor. Downside was that it was not very clean and there was no hand towels in bathrooms to use. We also had to find a closet with towels and one of the beds was not made. So we had to find sheets and make ourselves. Finally it was listed there was a futon when really there was only a futon mattress so one of us slept on a floor on a very old futon mattress. I...

Ideal location near Blue Hill, Acadia/Bar Harbor-Ocean Access-Canoe-PaddleBoards

9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (53)
"This is my dream home! It’s even better than the pictures (the layout is more open that I imagined). It served as a fantastic homebase during our trip with 8 friends to explore Surry, Acadia & Bar Habor (40 min to Bar Harbor). The location is quiet and relaxing and the beach access is a great bonus. Be sure to check out the stars on a clear night! We enjoyed cooking meals, playing games (ping pong, basketball, tons of board games), and just hanging out. It’s clean with comfortables beds & fully...

Peaceful Cabin in the Woods

Overlook Cottage, Toddy Pond!

8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (50)
"We had a wonderful stay at the Overlook. The view was fantastic, use of kayaks & fire pit was great & we totally relaxed with our pup. The only thing we could have used was info on where the transfer station was, how to get the bedroom TV to work (we figured it out, though) & a starter roll of paper towels. Aside from these minute issues, this is a wonderful cabin to escape to! I’d definitely stay here again! "
