this was an amazing place to stay! Right on the water with great views, a lovely deck to enjoy those views and a beach to go and play on. The room was nice and the bed was comfy. It was clean and smelled nice too. I wish we could have stayed longer!

My daughter and I stayed in Cabin #33..it had a perfect view of the water and beach with a porch to sit on and was literally a 1 minute walk to the beach. There was a badminton/volleyball net, cornhole game, shuffleboard, horseshoes and a firepit for the guests enjoyment. Staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The cabin was clean and inviting and comfortable with all the comforts of home. It was very quiet and relaxing. We will definitely be making a return trip to Colonial Gables.

We really enjoyed the location and the setting with close proximity to the water. Watching the tide go out from the deck after a day of driving was a real treat. We were not able to stay longer but wish we could.

Even though some of the cabins are older , you can see the attention paid to renovating and improvements. It was clean and well stocked with anything you would need , even in the kitchen. The beach was well kept and a beautiful walk and peaceful. Loved it and was already picking out other cabins to bring family back to.
