Very clean, comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms need to be renovated - new doors, windows, bathrooms but it was a quiet, comfortable place. Very conveniently located across from the CAT ferry.

I cannot figure out why this hotel did not receive a much higher rating on trip advisor or other rating platforms. The staff was terrific- friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, the bed very comfortable and the coffee-maker and fridge were a nice addition. The continental breakfast was generous and had a number of options, helping us avoid having to find a restaurant each morning and allowing us to get into the park each morning before the crowds. The location was perfect- right near both Bar Harbor and the park. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a great location for what we wanted to do. The staff were friendly and nice. The breakfast adequate although nothing hot but water and coffee. The hotel could definitely use an update. It is a little care-worn. Bathroom tub & sink were a little dingy. The beds however were comfy and the rug seemed to be fairly new. We needed to leave a day earlier than anticipated and they were very agreeable & gracious about that. Even though it is situated on the main road into Bar Harbor, we did not hear the noise from traffic.

Close to town and all the places we wanted to go. Were on the second floor but on the end which was nice since we had our dogs with us. They give gift bags for our dogs which was nice. The only thing I'd say that wasn't easy , was parking. It seemed like there were more cars then parking spots . Other than that it was nice and you have an ocean view and can walk to the Arcadia boat tours if you do a boat tour

Location worked well--as long as you are okay walking to town or walking a bit to get the bus to take you to the main hub of town. Mattress seemed old--a bit concave. Breakfast was not good. Very little to choose from and very little space to eat in.

We liked the fact that the inn was relatively close to downtown Bar Harbor. We could hop on the free shuttle that picks up guests from a series of hotels and inns. It runs every 20 to 25 minutes and ends up by the Bar Harbor Green. Trying to park in Bar Harbor is way too challenging and expensive. The inn is close to a very busy street, which can be noisy. Breakfast is OK. A wider variety of fruit would be appreciated. Not sure why kiwis were offered. You can’t peel them or cut them with a plastic knife. The big new shower was a plus. The door to the room needs work. It can only be closed by slamming it, which is way too noisy.

Simple hotel off main road. Across ferry harbor to Nova Scotia. Very convenient. Basic accommodation and amenities. Helpful and friendly staff. Very polite and courteous. A few minutes to Bar Harbor center to the south, and to lobster and other restaurants to the north.

Nice views. Having the breakfast stuff was nice. Our door was very hard to open. Doesn't fit , it sticks so that was a problem. It made alot of noise opening and closing it. Bathroom door same thing. 😕
