What a beautiful and cosy place! My daughter and I went for a weekend getaway and didn’t want to leave. The only fault if you can call it one was the shower head. The breakfast was delivered to our door and was so fresh and delicious. Very private but spacious. I would go back there again in a heart beat. Thank you spotted chook!

A fabulous breakfast delivered to the door. Enjoyed the rainforest walk out the back and the well designed privacy with each room. Great hosts and decor. The internet gets a bit dodgy in the area watching Netflix but that'[s not what we came here for.

We travelled all of 14kms to spend a quiet weekend away - and that is exactly what we got. We had a great time at the Spotted Chook in the Buttercup Room. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like the pictures, romantic, French provincial. It was a great location for our day trips along the range. And lastly, the breakfasts are just wonderful, with fresh produce, local products and free range eggs. Honestly, we did not have to eat until dinner after eating breakfasts. Would absolutely recommend you stay here! It would be cozy in winter with the fire in the rooms and looking out over the range.

Emily und Andre sind - auch wenn sie die eigentlichen Owner Jane & Leeroy "nur" vertreten haben - die perfekten Gastgeber. Vor allem das Frühstück, das Emily jeden Morgen zaubert, ist sensationell. Für ihre Gäste backt und bruzelt sie perfekte Muffins oder Omeletts. Und die Croissants sind ein Gedicht - Frankreich in Australien. Dazu die grandiose Aussicht, das Ambiente des Hauses und die Freundlichkeit der Betreiber ist bemerkenswert. Unser Zimmer (Snowpea) war sehr geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht (Kühlschrank, Gläser, Kaffee, Tee, Milch, Zucker, Besteck). Wir waren über Silvester für 4 Tage hier und haben uns so wohl gefühlt, daß wir eigentlich gar nicht mehr abreisen wollten. @Jane: We are so sorry about your injury. We wish you all the best and that you have the patience needed. Give the healing process the time it wants. Anmerkung für die, die bis hierher lesen: Andre kommt aus der Nähe von Würzburg in Franken und man kann deswegen sogar deutsch reden, wenn es mit dem Englisch nicht so dolle sein sollte.
