Dear Henrik, we are terribly sorry for your experience and thank you for your feedback. Because of the constant rain, we do see more bugs than usual. Dear Margaret-Ann, thank you for your review. Cutlery and plates can be provided upon request. We have security screen over the window and there's no way for anybody to open the window from outside. You insisted someone could take the security screen off and get into your room. The reason we were explaining that to you was because you stayed in the room and used the room before raising your concern. We still respected your concern and changed the room for you. Dear Elizabeth, we are sorry that you were not satisfied with your experience. I believe there's misunderstanding regarding "dislike" Americans. We meet guests from all over the world and we welcome everyone no matter where they come from. I do apologise if he ever made you upset in any case. But he's a very nice person who has a very soft heart. He just likes to talk to people... I'm glad that his wife was nice. Regarding "homeless", when people make bookings either over the phone or book online, we won't ask the guests if they are homeless or not, or where they come from. We treat every guest the same. They made the booking; they paid for their accommodation; they didn't make trouble, then they are good guests. We don't judge. They may be for work, study, holiday, family reason, insurance claim when their house is under repair or simply waiting for their rental place is ready to move in. And all the motels are the same. Regarding "overpriced", Australia is one of the countries where living cost is high. Along the coast is even higher. So the cost to keep the business running is also very high. We are actually one of the cheapest accommodation in Sunshine Coast while we still keep the place clean and comfortable. You made the booking online, I believe you compared the prices on the website. Again we are sorry that you were not happy for your stay. We still welcome you if you ever comes back. Regards

Dear Jan, I'm sorry for the experience you had with us. I'm quite confident that what you saw on the website is what we've got. But we can't post photos of all rooms. The building is quite old. It was built in 60s I believe. The owner of the property actually did a renovation at certain stage so you could see the interior is modern, but not in a fancy or luxury way. But we are only a 3.5 star motel which already gives you the indication of what we are. And what in the photo is exactly what we look like. The photo didn't show that we actually have smart TVs which you can watch Foxtel though. We do not accept long term residents. All of our rooms are non-smoking rooms. So people must smoke in the outside area. However, that doesn't mean they are permanents. And I don't see how you could link smoking and permanents together. If the guests ever decide they want to open their car door because it got wet after the rain so the car could air and dry, that doesn't mean they are permanents, does it? And they don't have to stay there to watch their car I guess. We got lots of guests who are travelers. We have no control of what they put in their cars. They are very welcome to put their personal belongings in the car. We have no problems with that at all. So I reassure you that what you said is definitely NOT true. I do have a suggestion to you that if you care too much about who else stay at the same motel and have too much concern on them, booking a 4-5 star hotel will be your better choice.
