"We had wonderful stay Clean room Friendly staff I will definitely stay in Grand hotel again"

"Cute room, with nice patio. The staff is not the most professional. Beds are hard and squeaky. The hot tub was not working. Staff didn’t disclose this when I confirmed at check in so it was a surprise when we tried to use it. When asked when it would be fixed we were told they didn’t know, but none of the front desk staff seemed to care. One front desk person pointed at a person drinking a beer and said “that’s the maintenance worker”. The reason we chose to stay outside of town was for these amenities that we could not use at all during our stay. We asked for a partial refund due to this and the manager or owner came with a bottle of wine? I guess that is something."

"I've stayed in two different rooms this week. First one was #6. Seemed clean. Did not use the shower. Hand soap was nice and moisturized. Second time I stayed in room 8, seemed clean until I went to shower. No fan in the bathroom, towels smelled kind of like wet dog? When I had the shower running, it smelled like ammonia, not pleasant. The shower curtain was dirty , definitely need to wash those as often as the towels , as it's cloth and tends to get musty. Tub and toilet very clean. First time wifi wasn't good, but it was fixed a few days later Quiet, A/C worked and there were bottles of water provided. No conditioner, only conditioning shampoo which isn't the same thing. Front desk clerk was wonderful. Check in was relatively quick but no a/c in the tiny office so if it's hot outside, you're drenched in sw at waiting to check in . Overall a good experience "

"We loved the space at the Grand Residence. We had space for our family of 5 to have separate beds. Our other family members were staying in The Grand and we could all meet every night at the hot tub. "

"The Ski in Ski out location was perfect. You're literally step out of the condo building right onto the hill. Lots of choices for restaurants. Grandkids had a great time skiing. This is our fourth time staying at Hearthstone Lodge so we obviously love it there. "

"The room met our expectations. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the village with easy access to everything including the ski hill. "

"Very shabby room. Beaten up furniture, A very visible dirty box spring mattress ( why no cover?). Real advantage here are the ski lifts are easily accessible from lodge. I do object to paying >$360/night and being given a list of chores to do prior to leaving the hotel. Take garbage out, empty dishwasher, leave towels in the bath etc etc. Be prepared to be fined “if you leave the room in an untidy manner”. Oh and if you drive a bigger vehicle don’t even think about using the underground parking, very tight. Sunpeaks you should be doing better. "
