Had a king room facing the river . It had a shared balcony with two chairs and a table. Very large room with a spacious bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Situated next to the golf course. Great place for a play and stay .

Very friendly staff. Place felt a bit run down (carpet stains, the balcony flooring was sanded plywood almost). No fridge or microwave in the unit we had. Pool was closed which was disappointing for the kids. Beautiful grounds area and nice views. Probably nicer for adults driving through the area.

Really enjoyed our stay at South Thompson, we stayed on the way to Vancouver and the way back! We loved the balcony rooms and had a view from both sides (the second stay was a river view which we preferred). The rooms are nicely sized, our second room had a large bathroom area as well, I can't quite remember what we upgraded to but it was really nice. The hotel itself isn't modern looking and that adds to its style. The rooms were nice and wow the beds were incredibly comfortable! The hotel itself is just outside of Kamloops and we really liked how quaint and cozy it was. We had a bite to eat at the bar (chicken tenders which were very filling!) Overall we aren't sure when we'll be in the area again but our road trip was made better by checking out the South Thompson Inn!

I would stay there again. Such nice staff. It’s quiet and located just 10 minutes outside of Kamloops. Secure with view of the river on one side of the Inn and horses and sound of the song birds on the other.

The beds were some of the worst hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. All spring, no cushion. The A/C barely worked and despite being the end of June, the pool was closed. Without any breakfast, a restaurant that stops serving food at 9 and being a significant distance from establishments offering food in general, and amenities that were unusable, this place was disgustingly overpriced and such a disappointment.

This is definitely a hidden gem, it is a short distance from the city center but well worth the drive, it has so much to offer, restaurant, lounge, pool and hot tub. All on a working ranch with a golf course right next door. They offer complimentary pedal bikes and maps of the trails nearby to hike/cycle. The back road to the city center has the most amazing views of the Hoodoo mountains, river and you might even see big horn sheep. If you are looking for a charming, quaint Inn this is it, you will not be disappointed with the level of service, hospitality and friendliness of the staff and new owners. I look forward to my next visit

Everything was wonderful. The grounds were beautiful and the staff so kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend staying here. My bed was so comfortable and the room the cleanest I have ever seen in a hotel. I was travelling with my Maltipoo Mango and she was welcomed as well. Thank you for such a lovely relaxing spot. Also, my daughter was in an adjoining room and she used the hot tub and said it was wonderful and very clean. Will definately be back again soon.

Meticulously clean room w/ a SUPER comfy bed. Friendly staff. SUPER worth the drive (from Kamloops) for a peaceful & quiet stay during the 'off-season' when the golf course next door is closed! I will be keeping the conference venue (& their catering services) in mind for future workshops/retreats.

We really enjoyed our stay! The late night receptionist greeted us so warmly, what a treat! She offered us a microwave and mini fridge without us even asking for it and brought it to our room which we put to good use. Her beaming smile was a joy. The lady at our check out was every bit as friendly and courteous, so nice to be treated that way. The room was charming and comfortable and our dog loved the huge grounds! Hope to visit again!
