"The beds are comfy, parking is easy and free, wifi also free. Its a good place to stay in general and ideal for visiting family. Only issue this time was the shower curtain needed to be changed, had a really bad smell which tainted the whole bathroom ( room 110) "

"Very old building so lots of quirky features like different shaped wooden skirting boards, the bath in our room in need of refurbishment but clean & both sink & toilet looked new, our room was lovely & cosy (a bit too hot at times but preferable to it being cold) Paul the chef & manager friendly & welcoming. "Hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Our room was lovely with a great view of the river and the mountains. We had dinner at the property. Tasted good. Nice that they packed us a lunch instead of taking our breakfast that was included because we were leaving early. That was an unexpected nice touch."

"The stay as a whole was very pleasant. The room, clean, the decor, very nice. My only 'gripe', is that the water pressure for the shower was terrible. I felt I had to run around in the shower to get wet. It was little more than a dribble and I felt I had to stand with my nose against the wall to get under the water. I took ages to have a wash!"

"Perfect setting for a celebration weekend for all our family. We cooked our meals and sat around the super size dining table in amazing surroundings. We went for walks as we were lucky to have good weather in March. One of us went cold water swimming!! "Beautiful place, hosts are just lovely, so accommodating and friendly. Hot tub and pool are very relaxing with the best of views from the hot tub. Only downside is the road up but it's worth it"
