"A clean room and comfortable bed. Rooms are not quiet though and our upstairs neighbors woke us up very early by stomping around. Breakfast was sub-par. Sausages were warm - at best; waffle batter had separated (gross), coffee was empty and stayed empty for most of the time we were eating breakfast. Tables in the breakfast area weren’t clean when we got there. The front desk attendant when I checked was a delightful person, very warm and welcoming. In room toiletries were nice. Mini fridge was a good size. This property is a two story motor-lodge style building. I would probably pick a different nearby location if I were to return to the area."

"Absolutely wonderful place to visit Jamie the host was super responsive and very reasonable and easy to work with. It was such a great getaway, so private, quiet. There is a community boat ramp and a place to park your boat so I was able to launch our boat and go fishing. I would highly recommend this location to anybody who just wants a quiet time around the lake."

"Great place to stay if coming for the Mammoth Cave trips or just trying to get away from the city noise. Very clean room, excellent communication with host and amazing outdoor fireplace for the night time. Great to find peace and connect with nature and the animals. Priceless farmhouse experience!!!"

"Communication was proactive and showed a genuine concern for our comfort during our stay. There was an error in double booking on the property’s end and they made extra accommodations for us and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The owner is a very kind person and reached out on a few occasions to ensure we had everything we needed. The cabin was beautiful, well maintained, and clean, and had great amenities for cooking. We enjoyed the brand new grill outside and also used the fire pit and enjoyed the local hiking trail. It is close to Mammoth Cave and we really enjoyed spending half the day at the park then relaxing at the cabin for the rest of the day. Highly recommend!!! (Side note - we are now at our next cabin destination of our road trip and we are missing the comfort and amenities at Maple Retreat!)"

"We stayed two nights with our three boys. They loved having so many sleeping spots to pick from and we loved that they were downstairs and we were upstairs. The kitchen had everything we could need including good steak knives for when we grilled. It was spacious and comfortable and Tonya was great to chat with."
