"This was a great way to check out from the worlds fast pace. Make sure when you google this camp site with the city and State. 1997 Fisher Ridge Road. There are two number addresses in Kentucky the same. You want to use this city and state-Horse Cave, Ky. The owner met us at the Truck Love's Stop and showed us how to get back to the secluded camp site. I would not suggest to arrive when it is dark. It was very secluded which was great for my two dogs. I ask the owner where the nearest shower was...

The cabin was stocked well enough that we could cook a little breakfast in the morning and head off to Mammoth Cave for some hiking during the day. Really happy I found this spot. "We visited frim out of state for the first time. We stayed in the lodge. You can tell they are older buildings but kept very clean. Our room was very roomy and comfortable. It would be nice to have a little mini fridge to keep cold drinks or left overs from the restaurant but otherwise it was a good stay."
