"Do not prepay if u have to check out early they will not refund you I booked 3 nights had to check out 1 night early went to do my check out at 9:15 am. Check out went fine till I ask for my refund. "We thought the cottage was quiet and secluded. Everything was easily accessible and the porch was perfect for a morning cup of coffee. The firepit was far enough from the house to not make everything smell Smokey. Wildlife was beautiful to include a skink (lizard), deer, cat and a screech owl at night. The Lakeside Cafe at the end of the road was absolutely delicious! Pizzas were amazing and cinnamon rolls and breakfast casseroles were scrumptious before heading out to the caves. "

"From check in to check out we had a great time. There are 98 stairs going down to the lake so be ready to exercise. It’s worth it! The lake is beautiful and peaceful. The property had everything we needed and more. Beach towels and life jackets were available to use which was really nice. It was dog friendly with gates on the deck. Hosts were helpful, friendly and responsive. 5 stars "
"Excellent location. Just minutes from Mammoth National Park. We were able to go back and forth to take breaks easily. Super clean and has everything you need to make meals. Laundry on site was very helpful to clean our clothes after hiking, cave tours and kayaking. You have privacy yet you are located close to everything (fast food/Walmart, etc. 15 minutes away). "
