"We absolutely loved our stay here at the Castle hotel. Beautiful hotel with such amazing staff that put you at ease even with all the grandure they made us feel so welcome and relaxed like we had known them for years. Beautiful three course meal by candlelight in a stunning dining room with silver service and a very charming Gentleman who entertained us all after dinner with his talent playing a beautiful big Harp and Grand piano while we enjoyed a cocktail. We will definitely be going back. Thank you so much to all the staff especially the lovely young lady in the bar who even though the Internet went down she continued to service everyone writing down by hand everyone's orders ."

"From the start walking into reception staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to ensure both myself and wife had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The room was immaculate, tea & coffee on tap, bottled water, fresh milk in the mini fridge. Breakfast was covered from full English, continental, fruit & yogurt, toast to mention just a few items on offer to cater for all, Big shout out to Mike who was always at hand to apiece any of requests. Overall, can’t wait to return, with my wife already looking at dates for September "

"Really enjoyed our one night at the Beach House. Room was bright airy and overlooking widemouth bay. Food is excellent, seafood heaven! And excellent selection for breakfast, the eggs royale was delicious. Will definitely be back when we are back in Bude! "

"We got engaged in Boscastle at the start of July and so this hotel will always be special, but it’s special regardless. Beautiful building, exceptional food, lovely pub atmosphere, helpful staff. We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade and the room was beautiful - huge bed, lovely en suite and high-beamed ceilings. The breakfast is included and it’s exceptional - best scrambled eggs I’ve had in years. Couldn’t rate more highly!"

"Our room(s) at The Mill House Inn were both very spacious, especially the bathroom, and kept the character of the old mill with big roof beams (if you're a tall person, you'll need to duck). It's located about 1/2 mile from stunning Trebarwith Strand that is great for swimming and surfing at low tide but disappears completely at high tide. Also 1/2 mile from the South West Coastal Path and fabulous hikes in either direction. Our first room was above the bar and was a bit loud (closes at 11pm which is not bad) so staff were very kind in moving us to another quieter room our second night. Breakfast was fresh, hearty and delicious. Highly recommended"
