"This hotel is very close to the station and a 20 minute walk from the sea front. The rooms are very well appointed and modern. The staff are friendly and the breakfast was excellent."

"Lovely three bedroom apartment out in the countryside. Well appointed with everything you need for a few days stay. You can walk to Henfield which is around 30 mins away but we were visiting family in Worthing so did our shopping there. Well suited for our older doggy with dog towels and bowls supplied and all on one level but bear in mind it has wooden floors."

"I recently stayed in this room and had a mixed experience. The room itself was clean and reasonably comfortable, however, there were a couple of notable downsides. There are 4 rooms at this property and 4 parking spaces are available but if you do not get the largest one to the left of the property then you will struggle to fit especially with the middle space as it blocks the entrance. Another issue was the lack of storage options in the room. There was no hanging space, and surprisingly, no hooks at all for coats. This made it awkward to keep things organised, especially as we were in the area for a funeral and although only staying overnight we needed 2 sets of clothes and some wardrobe space. Overall, while the hotel has some positives, the practical shortcomings—particularly the parking situation and lack of hanging space—would make me think twice before staying again. However if you want a clean convenient bed for one night with en-suite and basic tea and coffee making facilities it would be fine as it is reasonably priced. You get what you pay for !"

"I'm only giving it 3 stars because the accommodation was not how I understood it to be. The accommodation is clean and modern and the host very welcoming.Due to the wording in the description, I thought I was staying in an apartment within a townhouse that consisted of the bedroom, 2 bathrooms (one of which was not en-suite so was shared among us), kitchen, balcony and parking.The description of the host being a welcoming family with a dog, I thought was the simply part of the hosts profile. This property is actually a room and en-suite on the ground level of the family's home, with the bathroom upstairs to be shared by others in the home. My husband is allergic to dogs and I am scared, so the dog (even though it was upstairs and we never saw it) was a problem for us. Also parking was to be paid for, it was cheap enough, but not free.If the above suits you then I would recommend."

"Broomy Cottage is a lovely large comfortable family house in an excellent rural location. As a venue for our mixed generation family Christmas gathering it was perfect. Comfy sofas, log fire, plenty of space and a big garden for toddlers and a dog to run in! Close enough to the South Downs not to need a car when going for a longish walk, and very short drive to Waitrose. The kitchen was well equipped and the modern studio room above the garage had spectacular views. We all agreed that we would love to visit again."
