Very welcoming staff and comfortable accommodation. Wonderful views from the room and very quiet and peaceful.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food and beer is good and great value. Parking is a bit tight, so arrive early if you are checking in! If you want to eat, make sure you reserve a table. We found out the hard way on Saturday lunchtime that you can't always get a meal, even if you are a resident. Other than that, it's a good place to stay. It's quiet at night due to the location and the fact that the bar isn't open until late.

This is a real gem. Lovely building, and one of the best views from the beer garden in England. Great mix of friendly locals and other travellers, a well staffed kitchen, bar and restaurant. Great for Goodwood Motor Circuit too.
