"My husband and I were looking for a week’s getaway to celebrate our 29th anniversary in a quiet, out in the middle of the woods location, and this beautiful home fit the bill perfectly! The views from the deck of the home are absolutely stunning. This is a great spot for birdwatching as well, with dozens of raptors flying right past the house, many smaller birds, and squirrels leaping from tree to tree. We especially loved the hot tub and steam sauna, enjoying them every day with a convenient shower just inside the lower door to rinse off. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to cook full meals without any concerns that something might be lacking.In short, we had a great stay and would certainly come again!"

"We truly enjoyed our stay. We did not realize that the sand bar was a walk to get to, but we managed just fine. We want to make this an annual trip the same weekend each year. The property states it sleeps 12, but there is an additonal charge if there is more than 8 guests -- I don't really understand this and will research this further for next year. Jessica the host was very nice and helpful. "
