Koi Cottage With Mineral Hot Tub ~ Located Minutes From The Upper Meramec River

The Koi Cottage is a great place for family to get away and enjoy the country in a private setting.
The rate for the Koi Cottage is for 4 guest.
The Koi Cottage is a single level living, no stairs for easy access. It starts with a large concrete patio with fire pit, table and chairs, charcoal grill. The lily pond is next to the patio where water trickles down to the Koi pond below.
Off of the patio there is a outdoor room where you will find a wood burning stove, chairs, stereo system where you can plug in your device to enjoy music. The outdoor room is surrounded with windows to enjoy the outdoors from the warmth from within.
When you walk indoors, you enter the living room with satellite TV, comfortable reclining couch and love seat. We also have a large selection of books for reading enjoyment.
Off of the living room is a sun room which has a futon to open up for extra sleeping and the view of the Koi pond. The sun room has cordless pull shades on all windows plus a room divider to create a comfortable sleeping area. There is a electric fireplace in the sun room which can be enjoyed from the living room.
From the living room you enter the dining area with table and chairs that will accommodate 4.
The kitchen has a refrigerator with ice maker, stove, microwave, dish washer, toaster oven and coffee pot. It's stocked with all the dishware you will need, utensils and pots and pans.
The large bedroom has a queen size log bed with linens and a large closet for your cloths.
Bathroom is a full bathroom with tub and shower, towels and washcloths.
There is a washer and dryer for your convenience.
The mineral hot tub is located on the back deck. Where you can enjoy the hot tub in private.

Cabin was very clean, very spacious, great mineral, hot tub, nice patio with fire pit, barbecue grill, and wood for the fire. Would definitely recommend the host responded quickly. Hope to return again someday my dogs loved it.

Very comfortable & quiet cabin. We had a nice relaxing time both inside & outside. The hot tub was wonderful as was the fire pit & Koi pond. The cabin was close to great activities as well, Caves, museums & Route 66.

It had been 2 years since we stayed last. The bed was very comfortable and we liked the new flooring. It still needs some upgrades, but overall, we look forward for another stay later. The hot tub needed cleaning and the epoxy coating under the water level was wearing down, causing some abrasions on your skin.

I really enjoyed my stay here, it was peaceful and quiet. The bed was super comfortable, I slept well. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, the goldfish pond is awesome, I also enjoyed using the hot tub. The river is close and there is a grocery store about four miles away in Steelville. I didn't go anywhere, was pleasant enough to just relax at the cabin.

What a beautiful property! Very relaxing which is exactly what we needed! Enjoyed feeding the koi and watching the frogs in the small pond. The firm bed was perfect for my bad back. Secluded peaceful spot,yet close enough to get supplies and sightseeing. We enjoyed the gravel bar and the river. The hot tub was wonderful! We will definitely be planning a return visit!

Charming cabin with a mouse problem

Charming cabin perfect for hot tubbing and bird watching. Big mouse problem with droppings all throughout the house. We had to dispose of a dead one in the living room.

Getting to the house was easy not some weird directions, the home was nice and peaceful in a country setting and it was just the perfect place as we we're going floating and it was just up the street, the hot tub was nice made it just perfect for our stay.

Wonderful!

We decided to do a two part vacation. The first half was all about the kids, but the 2nd half was for me. The cabin was super easy to find, clean, and quiet! The girls loved the Koi pond and we found an awesome swimming hole just a few miles down the road. Would love to make this a yearly getaway!

Gill Ridge Cabins

The wife and I have made three trips to the area and have stayed at Gill Ridge. Twice at Koi Pond and once at Ellens cabin. The properties are always clean and stocked with plenty of towels, bedding and kitchen cookware. Lots of firewood for the fire pit and grills for outside cooking. Nothing beats laying in your hot tub aftef dark under the stars! Plenty of places to eat in the area and things to do for all ages. We will be back again for our next weekend get away.

Worn accommodations but nice location

Overall very nice place to stay. The hot tub was wonderful and the location is very quiet. The fridge was plenty large and the full stove and oven nice to use The house in general doesn't have a lot of lights, especially the living room area. Water pressure in the shower is low. A few short trim pieces weren't fastened down in various places. Overall, it is a very nice place. It just needs some attention and detail work to make it perfect.

Peaceful trip in the woods!

This cabin is ideally located to the river. Four adults stayed here and we brought a Queen air mattress for the floor in extra room.(Theres plenty of room!). The double futon was quite comfortable also. We brought our dog and she was able to mostly run free. We picked some edible mushrooms from the yard and had those with our steaks cooked on the grill. Kitchen was fully stocked. ( I suggest bringing your own spice preferences.) Loved the koi pond and just the area in general. Bring bug spray! Will make this one of our come back places if we visit again.
