"The cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. We were able to drive fairly short distances to some great hiking trails. The kitchen was well stocked and were able to prepare breakfast/supper, the BBQ grill and fire pit out front were appreciated! We saw deer and turkeys. The hosts were in contact with us for any need that might come up, but we really didn't need a thing."

"The listing said there was WiFi but it never worked for us. I reached out to the owner and my concern was not acknowledged. If I had been traveling while working this would have been terrible, as I have to have WiFi for my remote work. I’m okay if I don’t need it, but if the listing says it’s there and find out it’s not, that bothers me a bit and makes me a little uneasy. We lost power, it came back on pretty quick. The cabin is cute and cozy. The views are incredible!"

"There has been so much attention to detail with this rental, from the well-stocked kitchen with a smores kit to the bathrobes and slides to wear from the house to the hot tub, to the bounty of cut firewood for the firepit. The beds were comfortable, and the towels were plenty! It rained most of our stay, but we didn't let that dampen our spirits. The outside area with a covered hot tub and projector saved the day. We lost power for a time due to a storm, and the owner was so incredibly...

"We rented this amazing cabin for our family Christmas Eve gathering. It was spacious and cozy, and provided all that we needed to host our family Christmas. The cabin was nicely decorated for the holidays. We very much enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming back!!!"

"The host could not BE any nicer or easy to work with. He let us stay late for the eclipse with no fuss. And mailed back a CPAP machine I accidentally left there. The cabin was exactly the right size for a getaway weekend to view the eclipse. Everything was clean, it is easy to find, bit feels remote. We want to explore the property next time we stay - cannot wait to find the creek! We think this could be our base when we float the Jack’s Fork. Excellent all around!"

"Perfect river weekend getaway house for friends to get together. I wish we would have stayed at least one more night. This house is a lot bigger than it appears. Plenty of quiet and comfort. Kids loved the mini-ping pong table. Getting to see the northern lights one of the nights was definitely a plus and memorable experience."

"This property was clean and the lake was so nice. If you are looking for a little getaway that is simple in design, this fits the bill. If you are interested in watching TV, (we were not that interested) be sure to know how to use a smart TV. Montauk State Park is not that far away if you are interested in trout fishing. There is a beautiful fire pit, so get some firewood. Also, charcoal for the grill and you’re all set:"

"Another nice stay in the cabin. Cabin is not fancy, but oh so clean and comfortable. I love staying here. I love sitting on the large, covered porch admiring the scenery. And, of course, Montauk trout fishing is less than 5 minutes away."
