"We were unable to access the accommodation: upon arrival, we found ourselves in front of code boxes, no response to calls to the owner between 4 PM and 5 PM, no calls from him despite the message left on voicemail in English, no email indicating the codes. "This property is listed as 2 bedroom apartment , booked it for family of 4 for 3 night stay… upon arrival found it was rented to other individuals…. Individual Living in the living room/ balcony with personal belongings and bedding in living room, one bedroom locked rented to others and had access to one bedroom only with 2 twin beds and a folding single bed, total 3 can sleep in room…. Did not feel safe in that situation and left the property…. Booked another stay last minute as advised by Vrbo...

"A place of pro's and con's... - location - middle of old town - very quiet and good location. - easy to access, key locker worked well - Flat had been well cleaned, EXCEPT for the toilet seat which had accumulated many months of yellow stain on both sides... needed cleaned properly with bleach/ anti-bacterial. "This hotel is located in a lovely area with easy access to tram lines, making it very convenient to explore the city. The neighborhood felt safe and had a nice atmosphere, with cafés, shops, and other amenities nearby. The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable, and was everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A Great Location Close To Lake Lucerne

"The room was a good size but with a rather bland in design. The bed was large and comfortable. The AC seemed to struggle to maintain temperature and was quite loud. The shower also had a couple of issues. First was that, like the AC, the temperature control didn’t work very well. The water temperature would vary from luke warm to uncomfortably hot at times - without you adjusting it. Also the shower had two opening corners that were missing gaskets at the bottom so a lot of water ended up on the floor unless you were very careful. The location of the hotel made it easy visit a lot of tourist spots on foot. The included breakfast was reasonably good. The items were oddly distributed so you had to look for things that would normally be together e.g. butter near the bread."
