The front desk staff was not knowledgeable and initially was unable to add our honors rewards to our stay. We have been Hilton honor members for years and this is why we chose to stay at this particular property. When we initially checked in, the staff was unhelpful and unwilling to make sure that our honors information was attached to the booking to ensure points for our stay. When we arrived to our room, we found the balcony door to be off the tracks so it would not open. There was also damage to the balcony door and the handle falling off. We had to call maintenance and wait several hours for them to arrive to fix these very trivial items. The safe was also not working correctly as the batteries to the door for the lock were low and so the safe could not be used. We asked for this to be fixed and it never was. The floor had large brown/red stains. Many of the towels/linens that were supposedly cleaned were stained. The staff is supposed to bring 2 bottles of water per day and restock the room coffee/cream/sugar but this never happened and we had to ask for this every day. Housekeeping somehow skipped our room service 3 days in a row even though there was never an indication from us to do so. The housekeeping staff was always agitated that we asked for towels/linens almost every day of our stay because they had skipped room service. About halfway through our stay the air conditioning unit condenser broke and rattled non-stop making sleep impossible.
