"We had a brilliant stay at Church Mews--it was so good to come back to such a lovely spot after a full day of exploring the gorgeous surroundings. Church Mews had everything and more for a comfortable and charming "home away from home". We wanted for nothing (OK admittedly a few more coffee pods but there was a coffee press that we found and made use of). The loft and main floor bedroom was perfect for the two of us to have our "own" space and the open concept was super for relaxing, cooking, and dining. It was brilliant to have off-street parking. Church Mews was both comfortable and clean. We highly recommend that you book through Stay Cotswolds and stay at Church Mews when you travel to the Painswick area. Trust us--you won't regret it!"

"We had the best time at Owls Nest Barn. Pictures don't do justice, the barn is amazing, rooms are all so comfortable and have a hotel feel to it and you are in a farm surrounded by lovely cows. Hosts were super friendly, helpful. Special thanks to David, who was super responsive and also gave us a lovely tour of the farm. We would definitely come back. Thank you."

"The hotel is a bit dated in the rooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always good and plentiful. Cleaning was poor, never vacuumed in five days, tables were left dirty, sheets never changed. Also there was mold on the window sills and my allergies acted up. A bit pricey for this level of room."

"We booked this accommodation while walking the Cotswold Way. Downstairs space was good and we were able to combine a couple of tables to sit 8 of us together. Upstairs all rooms had views out the back. A little more furniture in the main bedroom would be good. We had a couple of issues but these were responded to and satisfactorily resolved within a couple of days."

The house itself was absolutely beautiful – full of character, very well maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views were stunning and truly captured the charm of the Cotswolds countryside, making it a joy to wake up each morning and simply take in the surroundings. The cottage felt peaceful and welcoming, the perfect place to relax and slow down, whether enjoying breakfast with a view or spending quiet evenings indoors. We had a brilliant time from start to finish and felt at home straight away. It was one of those stays that you wish could last longer. We would highly recommend this cottage and would happily return in the future."

"The Chairman’s Retreat is a beautiful, very well appointed home. Four very pleasant bedrooms, with lovely, fresh, crisp, bed linens. The kitchen is superbly equipped, and has a fabulous cooking range with a couple of ovens, grill, and warming drawer. The views of Frith Woods and the Slad Valley are breathtaking. Chris and Suzanne were very welcoming, and Chris was so helpful (and a great baker to boot. His home-made flapjacks were delicious). They stocked up the ‘fridge with supplies for our first night, and breakfast. Very much appreciated.Thank you so much to you both for being fabulous hosts."
