"From the moment we walked in we loved the accommodation. All rooms were very comfortable and everything we needed was to hand. The access road is a little narrow but after a couple of trips out we just took it in our stride. So lovely to have our hosts next door, be able to meet them and compliment them on their property. Would certainly visit again in the future."

"We had the best time at Owls Nest Barn. Pictures don't do justice, the barn is amazing, rooms are all so comfortable and have a hotel feel to it and you are in a farm surrounded by lovely cows. Hosts were super friendly, helpful. Special thanks to David, who was super responsive and also gave us a lovely tour of the farm. We would definitely come back. Thank you."

"Our room was small and poorly equipped. The TV didn't work. The kitchen was closed. It wasn't a terrible stay, but it certainly wasn't worth the price we paid. "

"Booked for one night and paid just shy of £200 for a standard double. The pictures of the hotel and room looked good so was happy to pay,. However, the room we got, room 44 was right at the back of the hotel in the 1980/90's extension, the room was small and tired, particularly in the bathroom where the door has no lock and paint had been knocked off, the ventilation fan also didn't work and wasn't fitted properly. The hotel itself is very nice and the staff are friendly. We also ate in the restaurant which was pleasant but we had a 20 minute wait for our drinks. I felt it was expensive for what it was £100 for 2 starters and 2 mains with 2 drinks. For £300 I feel there is better out there. Made my feelings felt on departure and received an apology and assurances my comments will be passed on, won't be returning."

"The hotel is a bit dated in the rooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always good and plentiful. Cleaning was poor, never vacuumed in five days, tables were left dirty, sheets never changed. Also there was mold on the window sills and my allergies acted up. A bit pricey for this level of room."
