"This hotel was located perfectly for the Viking cruise port. It was a 10 min. walk to our ship. The hotel supplied hand soap that was attached to the wall and shower/shampoo soap that was attached to the shower. It was probably all the same soap. No body lotion so bring your own. The buffet breakfast was delicious and plentiful as others have commented. The staff at the buffet was very friendly and helpful."

"We have a wonderful time in Bergen and our stay in this hotel was excellent. I was thrilled with our room which was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel was in a perfect location, it was near the shopping area, local transport and the waterfront. One of the highlights had to be the breakfasts. There was a vast choice of delicious hot foods, meats and cheeses, salmon and peppered fish, salads and a delicious array of fresh fruits, yogurts and cereals. There was a good choice of breads and I was able to get gluten free bread. If you had any room after all that there were also tasty pastries."

"Very nice property in excellent location for sightseeing. Room was comfortable and meals - especially breakfast - were good. My only reason for deleting a star was the bathtub shower. There were no hand holds or anti-slip mat in the high sided narrow bathtub. Taking a shower was quite risky"
