"I used to always stay at this hotel a few years ago and always loved it bc of its location and its retro shabby chic vibe. Since, however, it’s only gotten shabby and kind of gross and run down. Now the vibe is halfway house, with dirty and mouldy bathrooms, really old mattresses that make you itchy and just dusty and old items. The TV wasn’t a a smart one and only offered local channels, etc. The owners should update the rooms and at least buy newer furniture. The only saving grace is the staff, they are lovely and helpful. The front desk staff and handy person were the best part of my stay there. "

"I stayed in a 1-bedroom apartment, which was very spacious with high ceilings. Lovely bathroom (though the spa bath did not work) and nicely laid-out living/dining/kitchen. Excellent location."
