Love the overall aesthetic of this hotel but feel it could be spruced up…the bed and pillows need an upgrade (Room 304), door colour is not pleasant, tired looking chairs, tables…loved how spacious the room is

The propert was very nice. The room was large & comfortable. The only negative was the breakfast which was poor. Very nasty Keurig coffee. Packaged instant oats which you ate from a paper cup. Nothing like maple syrup to put on the oats. Freshfruit which was nice. Reasonable muffins. I might have been able to overlook this if the coffee was decent. Went out for breakfast every day.

It’s a nice property. i like a room with bright natural light and this hotel has a number of rooms with one dormer window and lots of dark wood beams

I loved the old charm of this property…exposed wooden beams in the room and a fantastic view of the old downtown buildings. Loved it!

Very nice room. Everything old though. Drapes and window sheers had holes and blanket was paper thin with holes. Towels were thin and hard. Front desk staff were lovely and friendly they were the only staff we saw. Hotel is old and some wings have musty old smell, but it is one of downtowns older buildings so I guess that’s to be expected. Some upgrades on carpeting, window coverings, bedding and towels would make a big difference.

This was our first time at the Murray Premise. We had a a great room with a huge bathroom. Bed was very comfy. I love the history of the building.

The room was very unique and cozy. The location is perfect too! I was able to walk to Signal Hill in 45 minutes and all the restaurants and bars are 5 minutes walking distance.

We really liked this hotel, its older has a lot of charm, walking distance to downtown, the Keg and Jack Astors are right across the street, very convenient, staff were very pleasant, we enjoyed out stay and will be back

Old but very clean and rustic property. Close to all amenities weather shopping partying or quietly reading a book. Lots too see and do would recommend this property and definitely will be staying again!

Beautiful hotel in downtown St. John’s. Convenient to many restaurants and bars. The room was spectacular with lots of room, large walk in shower, large tub and fireplace. Would stay again.

We always enjoy our stay however the room we had this time had a faulty bathroom.door. it didnt close tight and when u pushed to close it waa very hard to open
