"Hotel staff were excellent but the fabric of the hotel left much to be desired. We were made very welcome and staff were most helpful, it's just a pity that some furniture was quite shabby and needs updating. One major problem was the bathroom where taking a shower was potentially dangerous, the baths are difficult to step in and out of due to their design which slopes too steeply."

"The Pomme D'or is a beautiful hotel. The staff and facilities were first class in my opinion. The hotel is charming and located right in the center of St Hellier. Everyone we interacted with was smiling and eager to help. Definitely recommend this to all."

"Excellent location and quality of accommodation. Had a fabulous time. Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. Food in the restaurants high quality. Spa was lovely. Could do with a heated towel rail in the bathrooms but that’s a small thing really. Overall excellent. Would definitely come back."

"Gardens, pool & aviary all in fine condition, a pleasant and interesting layout to the whole site. Room decor a little tired and this was an old-style small single bed with a mattress approaching the end of its service life. Could hear noises from guest in next room but nothing too intrusive. Food at dinner very nice if a bit portion-controlled. Cheerful staff were helpful and kept up a good atmosphere. Was my 2nd visit and I hope to return"
