"The Great Southern Hotel is great for the price ($100 for a standard Queen Room). I was on the 3rd floor with a room overlooking Spencer Street. It was slightly noisy with the trams going past but comfortable and I got a good night’s sleep. It’s a great location and the trip to and from the Palais Theatre was easy peasy. So I’d happily recommend it."
