"Our clean, spacious family room was the highlight of our Krakow trip. It was equipped with an amazing air conditioning unit that allowed us to happily head back to the hotel after being out exploring during Europe’s summer heatwave. Hotel receptionists were always helpful and courteous. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was huge. Breakfast was the typical EU breakfast with ham, scrambled eggs, cheese slices, fresh bread-mini croissants, vegetable slices, tzatziki sauce, and an excellent assortment of fresh fruits. This hotel is within walking distance to the lively old town square. Lots of tourists and locals dancing, hanging out in the square but we never heard anything from our room. I will say, our room was located closer to the back with no real view so that may be why we didn’t hear all the partying going on around the hotel. All in all, we were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Jan. If you are ever in Krakow and want to be within steps of the old town and looking for a hotel with amenities such as air conditioning, this is your place."
