Apartments in Spring Grove

"Stood for one night for a birthday celebration and unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. We called the front desk to request two comforter because the comforters on both beds were stained. They brought two of them up promptly, which I appreciated, but one of the comforters still had visible stains, which was very disappointing. The mattresses were also very uncomfortable, and we both woke up in pain. The indoor pool was another letdown—the water appeared cloudy and didn’t seem well-maintained. The room temperature was also an issue. Even with the heat set to 74°F, it felt more like air conditioning, leaving the room uncomfortably cold. On a positive note, the 2 beds and TV stand looked newer and well-updated (NOT the mattresses), showing that some remodeling has been done. However, it seems incomplete. Parts of the room still felt outdated, and the hallway had an unpleasant smell that clearly still needs remodeling. Overall, for $300 per night, the stay did not feel worth the price."

"The staff was absolutely fantastic. We would definitely stay here again. Was with my family of 5, and it was a really good option for us. Pool and hot tub were great. They keep both at a very nice temperature - pool is warm and hot tub is hot (probably 103° or so). Breakfast was good. Right next to a Kwik Trip which was also a nice perk."

"This resort and surrounding area of Fontana was excellent!! Stay in Fontana and on the resort where they have the best restaurants and little shops. The people are absolutely delightful in this area! The Avani spa is a must do! It has a beautiful tranquil and relaxing environment. Loved the salt room and pool area! I do not recommend visiting the city of Geneva on the opposite side of the lake/resort. It’s designed to rip you off! They charge $10 to walk on the 30ft size beach and will ticket you in a paid parking area for the dumbest reasons (they’re worse than Chicago). Anyway, I highly recommend the Fontana Abbey resort just be sure to get a view with the water! It’s exhilarating!"

"I had a good stay overall this weekend. The hotel is in a very convenient location, the room was clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The property itself was nice and well-kept. The only downside was the noise—both at night and early in the morning there was a lot of stomping and loud activity from other guests, which made it difficult to relax and sleep. Overall, a positive experience, but the noise level could definitely be improved"
